What it makes
A curved cradle that holds round cable winders on their edge, in a row, with a divider between each one.
Segments clip together end to end with sliding T tabs, so you can print as many as you need and join them into a longer run.
Choosing a size
Pick the winder size, matching the 9 Cable Winder sizes, and how many winders each segment holds. The summary shows the segment's length and warns you if it's longer than most print beds, about 220mm.
Printing and fitting it
- Print base down, no supports.
- Wall mount: two countersunk screws on the centreline, one in the first slot and one in the last. 3mm screws by default, or set 4mm under Advanced.
- Join: line up two segments, lower the slot end of one onto the tab end of the other, and push down until flush.
Questions
Can I use it on a shelf without screws?
Yes. Turn the screw holes off under Advanced and it sits on its base.
How many winders fit on one segment?
Up to 10, but check the length against your print bed. For a longer run, print several segments and clip them together.
